The Goddess Within

Posted by: | Comments (0)

From Heather Fraser:

“A goddess is a woman who emerges from deep within herself. She is a woman who has honestly explored her darkness and learned to celebrate her light. She is a woman who is able to fall in love with the magnificent possibilities within herself. She is a woman who knows of the magic and mysterious places inside herself, the sacred places that can nurture her soul and make her whole. She is a woman who radiates light. She is magnetic. She walks into a room and male and female alike feel her presence. She has power and softness at the same time. She has powerful sexual energy that’s not dependent on physical looks. She has a body that she adores and it shows by the way she comfortably lives and moves in it. She cherishes beauty, light, and love. She is a mother to all children. She flows with life in effortless grace. She can heal with a look or a touch of the hand. She is fiercely sensual and fearlessly erotic and engages in sex as her way to share with another in touching the Divine. She is compassion and wisdom. She is a seeker of Truth and cares deeply about something bigger than herself. She is a woman who knows that her purpose in life is to reach higher and rule with love. She is a woman in love with love. She knows that joy is her destiny and by embracing it and sharing it with others, wounds are healed. She is a woman who has come to know that her partner is as tender, lost, and frightened as she has been at times. She has come to understand the scars of the boy in him and knows that together, love can be the relief, the healing of their wounds. She is a woman who can accept herself as she is. She can accept another as they are. She is able to forgive her mistakes and not feel threatened by another’s even when attacked. She is a woman who can ask for help when she needs it or give help when asked. She respects boundaries, hers and another’s. She can see God in another’s eyes. She can see God in her own. She can see God in every life situation. She is a woman who takes responsibility for everything she creates in her life. She is a woman who is totally supportive and giving. She is a Goddess.

“I also adore the description below by Lakota Sioux Henry Houston, that so beautifully helps us visualize the Divine Balance and Union between male and female energies.

“When a woman is in her centre, she is like wild mare taking flight freely through the open plain, her mane whipping in the wind. The strength of her powerfully sculptured legs merge with the earth, majestically creating its own drumbeat in tribute to Source. She is pure and primal expression of creative power.

What is possible for her becomes totally transformed when her beloved is riding her, the masculine strength who knows and honors her power. It is through his surrender to her that he is able to become one with her. His masterful leadership and understanding of her raw power, her desires and her vision guides and directs the powerful energies in a manner that manifests the greatest good for the unified collaboration. He harnesses the energy into a purposeful end for both.

He does not fear or compete with her magnificent power. Through surrender and union, he experiences his True Nature beyond the world of form and this unleashes his own spiritual power. He is free! She gratefully surrenders to his leadership, for it grounds her, stabilizes her energy, and allows for its manifestation on the physical plane. Both are empowered by the union. Still each of them stands sovereign in his and her own power. Out of the balanced unity is created a third force, a natural flow of synergistic energy between them that combines their individual wholeness into an infinitely expanded wholeness together. All of creation joins in the celebration of this Divine Union.”

When You Love….

Posted by: | Comments (0)

Since Christmas, the weather has warmed considerably…. hasn’t frozen since then, and was up to 62 yesterday. Many overcast days with light rain, so the land is finally getting a good supply of moisture. Arrow is collecting a good supply of friends now… schoolkids that walk by after school. About a dozen different ones come to greet him daily. With the rain, our walks now tend to be sporadic…. he is not all that keen on walking in the rain. Despite the couple weeks of temps as low as 12 degrees, the lawn is still green, as are the rosebushes. And new lily shoots are poking thru the leaves I had blanked them with. Life is good. I can only agree with the following quote.

“When you love you should not say,
`God is in my heart,` but rather,
`I am in the heart of God.`
And think not you can direct the course of love, for love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course.”
— Khalil Gibran

Find Something New, Daily

Posted by: | Comments (0)

For spiritual growth, the importance of finding new horizons…. new perspective, is important. Whether it is looking at an old problem in a new way, or seeing something you’ve never seen before, benefits can be reaped. Spirituality is not a closed system, it is a dynamic interactive multi-way flow between the individual and the entire universes. We have crafted exactly what we are today, and will craft exactly what we will be tomorrow.

Here is a quote from Richard Bartlett’s The Physics of Miracles:

“If you have a tumor or condition, a disease, or whatever, it has the potential to be healed instantly. Transformation is a miraculous process that can transcend what you think of as the laws of physics. Here’s the point: miracles operate outside your normal reference for reality. They happen all the time, but we sometimes miss them because we habitually focus on what’s still the same— on what’s familiar and what we know and believe consciously. We would have a lot more miracles in our lives if we simply began to notice what is different or new!”

Richness of Life

Posted by: | Comments (0)

As abruptly as summer hit, it left, with daytime temps dropping from 90s to high 40. The catalpa across the street has been shedding leaves at a steady rate, altho most of the deciduous are barely starting to shed. The lavender up the street smells wonderful, and the blue jays are temporarily back. Kat is in New Jersey for about a month, so Arrow and I are batching it.

Last week before she left, Kat asked for a stone with this engraving:

All bets are off…

Anything is possible.

That got me to thinking of how rich this life is with potential. Any given moment presents a multitude of options, cloaked only by our habits of this lifetime, and our willingness to select and activate a new option.

Our souls are filled with other/alternate lifetimes that have learned many talents… many abilities. Most of these are available now, if we choose to activate them. Do you wish to be more open and loving? Do automatic writing? Converse with your soul? Be a healer? Levitate objects?

Choose your new path. Select or design a meditation that takes you beyond your mental/physical self… say to the center of the universe. [I imagine myself in deep space, with the glory of the universe around me.] There, set your intention to remember how to do whatever you have chosen. Make that intention clear and concise. Then return with the knowledge that your choice has been activated. Allow the memory of how to achieve your goal to come in its’ own timing. Have no expectations of how this may occur. Just remember, when working with your soul…

All bets are off…

Anything is possible.
