Getting Unstuck

Posted by: Rob | Comments (0)

It feels like mid-spring here. Daffs and tulips still bloom, as do the fruit trees, yet not all trees are showing leaf.

Kat, Ruth, and Connie have finished their book, “Dragons”, subtitled “Shapeshifters”. I’ve been busy doing some editing on that lately. It is an interesting experience working a publishing company… even a small one. The book will be out later this year.

I seem to be one to get “stuck” on my path every now and then.  By and large, a day or two seems to take care of it. I came across a tip from Veronica which immediately struck home.

Your soul, infinite in its existance, chooses physical reality as an opportunity to participate in creation. All spiritual energy feels the desire of expression whether in nonphysical or physical. The level of participation may vary but ultimately that creative process aligns your soul, enhancing its connection with all that vibrates in reality.

So, if you are feeling stuck in your focus being an omnipotent energy in a physical form…. create… anything….. Bring forth a part of your soul no matter how simplistic it may feel.

Allow your soulful energy to unfurl itself while igniting your thoughts creatively to bring in a spiritual creation to this reality.

This alignment not only will be a fulfillment to your dimension but will also move stagnant energy within you…. This allowing will bring better manifestation to your reality.

The feeling of being stuck may dissipate giving you a chance to reconnect with physical & yourself.

Create what, you ask.

The answer lies between a simple endeavor to a complex one. It’s your energy that will define it. Breathe new life into your self and ride the wave of creative power that is within all of you.

It may be dulled from inappropriate outside influence but indeed it is still there. Reach down deeply and reconnect to whatever your soul resonates with.

It will make a difference.

Creation is the fuel of the soul & its expression.

Awakening

by Clark Little

As we awake from our sleep of millenia, we discover items that no longer fit easily into our previous ways of thinking, of feeling. Perhaps it is our accustomed method to fight dearly for what is so familiar to us. Or, perhaps we can easily dissolve an old mindset — put it on the shelf for a while — as we try the new. Life is about the new; about expanding our experiences and creativity.

I have long felt that my soul is enormously knowledgeable; and holds a seeming infinity of love. Yet that was my soul. I have longed for the permanent conscious experience that I’ve experienced is there. As opposed to here.

Slowly it has dawned on me that ‘There’ and ‘here’ are something I have to bring together. It does no good waiting for Soul to share what it holds. I have to make the conscious effort during my days to know and act as if I am my Soul… as if there were no division… no “me” and “him”.

So, to let that old mindset slip away….

Awe…more

Posted by: Rob | Comments (0)

[Well, I couldn't resist!] Rain has returned to the valley the past month, and despite a few frosty nites, the grass is turning green and growing… I may get another lawn mowing in. Kat and I did the annual craft bazaar at Crater Lake Rock Museum, [to which we belong] Saturday, with modest sales. Made some interesting contacts, also.

Today was absolutely stunning… a misty morning for our walk along the canal, acorns and oak leaves underfoot. Not even the surrounding mountains were visible, and the trees were a beautiful muted rainbow. A time of wonder. By early afternoon the sky was crystal clear, flooded with golden light.

There are sources that suggest that developing a sense of awe is highly beneficial to one’s spiritual development. Perhaps. But it is also a very fun thing to do. I have been in awe about soap bubbles in the dishwater, I’ve found. For me, I’ve found awe in remembering more dreams, about “strangers” I see in the streets, about my relationship with myself, worms under a pile of leaves I just collected, someone’s willingness [or not] to tackle a problem.

It seems a willingness to engage in awe leads to evermore opportunities. Sometimes it is a quick feeling, or I can spend time with it and almost get “lost” in the amazingness of a thing. Awe has no judgement… it just is. And it certainly gives me a sense of a more solid foundation.

Find Something New, Daily

Posted by: Rob | Comments (0)

For spiritual growth, the importance of finding new horizons…. new perspective, is important. Whether it is looking at an old problem in a new way, or seeing something you’ve never seen before, benefits can be reaped. Spirituality is not a closed system, it is a dynamic interactive multi-way flow between the individual and the entire universes. We have crafted exactly what we are today, and will craft exactly what we will be tomorrow.

Here is a quote from Richard Bartlett’s The Physics of Miracles:

“If you have a tumor or condition, a disease, or whatever, it has the potential to be healed instantly. Transformation is a miraculous process that can transcend what you think of as the laws of physics. Here’s the point: miracles operate outside your normal reference for reality. They happen all the time, but we sometimes miss them because we habitually focus on what’s still the same— on what’s familiar and what we know and believe consciously. We would have a lot more miracles in our lives if we simply began to notice what is different or new!”
