When it rains, I generally fish a few worms out of Arrow’s outside water dish. I think they are attracted to the warmer metal. Over to the compost pile for them. Still, life is full. The great grandkids are here most days. The youngest, Landon, is three, and loves to pick things up. Which is generally ok. I just don’t know where I’m going to find them. He is a cyclone of energy. Skyler is a year older, already into his little computer games. Kat is very content to the babysitting… she is far more family oriented than I’ve ever been. She has taught this lone wolf a heap about relationships.

Lately when I’m not engraving rocks, I’ve been messing with beta software, Themeframe and Headway. They are both WordPress website making programs, and are attempting great leaps forward in site design. Very interesting.

Kat hasn’t quite finished decorating… only 187 trees in the house at the moment. Arrow doesn’t seem to mind the cold; even Malfina [manx] is spending nites in the shed rather than the house, unlike the coldest part of last year. Myself… I have to go in every few hours to warm fingers and feet, as my computer and workshop are in the shed.

Despite the freeze, a california poppy lasted in bloom until yesterday… a potted snapdragon still blossoms outside the shed, also. On our walks, the blackberry brambles are being harvested by the wintering birds.

Arrow and I have collected the last of the leaves for the garden an compost bins, as well as cleaning out the gutters. [Well, ok, he mostly supervised.]

Reality is not the same for any two people…. we do not “inhabit” the same reality. While agreed upon parts of reality may seem to overlap, the deeper one investigates this “shared” reality, the more differences are found.

Comparatively, my reality may be your fantasy; Henry’s nightmare; Diane’s Eden.

Each reality has been cultivated since birth, and each can be altered, reshaped, by that individual’s choice. One’s reality is always shaped by choice… even selecting a “passive” choice is actually an active choice.

And choice is that from what all change as well as all realities come.
